Pizza and salads will be served started at 5:45p
reticulateSometimes we can't do everything on one platform, even when they are great and powerful like R. Please join us Weds, 4 Oct 2023 as we introduce the reticulate package, an important interface to 'Python' modules, classes, and functions. When calling into 'Python', R data types are automatically converted to their equivalent 'Python' types. When values are returned from 'Python' to R they are converted back to R types. reticulate is compatible with all versions of 'Python'

We also hope to touch on creating Shiny apps with Python. Wait, what???

If you're interested in mixing in your Python skills into your R scripts, notebooks and Shiny apps, or simply want to eat pizza and talk about R, please be there Wednesday in AE 217!

Pizza and salads will arrive approx. 5:45p
